# On Demand -How to create an Employee

In the dashboard :

* Click on the Hamburger Menu (

  ) → Employees ([👨‍💼](https://emojipedia.org/man-office-worker/))

* Click on the

  **ADD NEW**

  button.

* Method 1

  -

  **New {Employee }**

  option → A form appears with the required fields to be filled.
* Fill up the form with following fields:

  * Employee Name - The name of the Employee who will be accessing the Dashboard/Portal.
  * Employee Code - The Employee Code associated with Employee(Can also give a new code here).
  * Dashboard Username - When Employee Logs In, the name that will appear on dashboard.
  * Password
  * Mobile Number and Email of the Employee are not necessary fields.

After filling the whole form, You’ve successfully Created the employee.

* Method 2

  -

  **Upload CSV**

  option → A form appears with the required fields to be filled.

* Click on

  **Select from Computer**

  to upload the Excel sheet.

* One can also drag and drop the file into the space provided in the window.
* You can download a sample Excel file to understand what data has to be entered by clicking on the

  **Download Sample Excel**

  option from the window.
* Click on the

  **Upload**

  and

  **Add**

  button, you’ve successfully added the employees.
