# How to create a Pincode Master

For any consignment, the system requires destination pin-codes to allocate hubs for *delivery tasks,* from where the last mile proceeds after the Middle Mile and pickup in the First Mile.

In the dashboard :

* Click on the hamburger menu () → Setup → Pincode ()

* Click on the **Add New** button.
* `Method 1` - **New Pincode** option → A form shall appear with the required fields. This method is used to create a single Pincode allocation rule.

* Fill up the form and click on **Add Pincode** button.

* You’ve successfully created a new Pincode allocation rule for delivery.

* `Method 2` - **Upload Excel** option → A file upload window appears. This method is used to create multiple Pincode allocation rules.

* Click on the **Select From Computer** button to upload your Excel sheet.

* One can also drag and drop your file into the space provided in the window.
* You can download a sample Excel file to understand what data has to be entered by clicking on the **Download Sample Excel** option from the window.
* You’ve successfully created a new Pincode allocation rule for delivery.
